About C. Stacci ( Stä′chē )

Picture
A Christian, artist, writer, teacher, and mother among many things, she is currently working from home and substitute teaching while caring for her little girl, "Kay Rae".  Primarily a painter and photographer, she is influenced by God and His work; but she enjoys all types of art-making! Her published articles can be viewed at Examiner.com.

Stacci studied studio art for three years, moved into art education and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Arkansas in 2010. She is certified to teach K-12 in Arkansas and Missouri. She is passionate about the arts, but mostly about seeing children blossom into unique creative persons with wild imaginations!

"Throughout my life I have been drawn to stories of fantasy, as well as God's beautiful nature, for there is no greater Artist than He! I am inspired by the works and ideas of
Brian and Wendy Froud, who create imaginary creatures that inhabit imaginary worlds; each creation becomes a new reality. I have also been influenced by Julie Heffernan’s paintings, which are filled with Baroque-like decorative creations. Her scenes are overwhelmed with imaginary plants and characters.
In my paintings, I fill the scene with imaginary designs that are inspired by organic patterns, like paisley and other Buta patterns. I provide a glimpse of a world I create using my own imagination. My art is meant to appeal to all ages, because the use of imagination is something that should never be lost."  -C. Stacci 2010
